On 04 February 2021, PSSg Robert A Labaniego, PCTC-EMFO and personnel from PCTC-VFO participated/attended INTERPOL’s webinar on Maltego and its transforms for Police via Webex. The virtual activity, first of the seven (7) part series of VTRs and VDRs, is an opensource intelligence and forensics software and graphical link analysis tool for gathering and connecting information for investigative tasks. It was developed by Paterva from Pretoria, South Africa and focuses on providing a library of transforms for discovery of data from open sources, and visualizing that information in a graph format, suitable for link analysis and data mining.
